There are three methods to replace the BMW ECU easily and safely by CG FC200.
The important thing is: Read the original ISN and write it into the replacement ECU.
Take BMW CAS3 ECU as an example.
Method 1:
This is the simplest and fastest method, without the need for reprogramming.
But the prerequisite is that your original BMW ECU (such as MV80 TC1796) can communicate normally, and we can use the FC200 ECU programmer to read the raw data and write it into the new replacement ECU.
Method 2:
Use CGDI Prog BMW key programmer or other programmers to read the IMMO data and original ISN of the original key, and then use CG FC200 ECU programmer to write the ISN into the replacement ECU.Here are the operation steps:
1. Check if the original Anti-theft system and key are normal.
2. If both are OK, use a programmer to read CAS data. It requires you to weld the CAS and programmer expertly.
3. Run CGDI BMW software and select “CAS3 Key Match”, load the CAS3 data just read, and put the original key into the coil of CGDI BMW, then the ISN data will be identified.
4.Write the ISN data into the replacement BMW ECU by CG FC200.
5.Finally, install the ECU back to the BMW car.
Method 3:
When we do not know the original ECU ISN, and the module data of the original car cannot be read and written, the anti-theft of the original car is not normal or the key cannot be used normally. We need to use FC200 to read the ISN inside the replaced engine ECU, write this ISN into the anti-theft with CGDI, and then use this ISN to add a new key.
